Happy 1st Birthday Olivia!

One of Olivia's gifts was a sled from her Uncle Bill and Auntie Tina.

All bundled up and cute as can be.

Happy Birthday to you Miss Olivia Jo.

Will insisted on giving her a lot of love. She wasn't real interested in the cupcake much.
I often wondered if you could love anyone like your kids. I love my kids to death and would do anything for them. I will also tell you that I love this little one like you wouldn't believe. She gives me so much joy. I didn' t have the pleasure of having my children this young. I enjoy every minute I can spend with her. My boys love her like their sister. She constantly coo's and smiles at Nick.
I am really lucky (and I have learned this more in my later life) to have my brother and his family, along with my parents, right by me.
So, if you read this someday Olivia ... your Auntie loves you SO much and I am proud to be your Godmother. Hope you had a great 1st birthday!

Happy New Year ... with a wedding.

Nick and myself

David and Libby

The MacCudden clan ... or as many as we could get in.

Nick's cousin Angela got married on December 31st. It was a great time (thanks for babysitting Grandma Dobson).

Will's 9th Birthday

Grandpa enjoing his time with his granddaughter.

I can't believe he is already 9! If you can't see the cake, yes it is Mickey Mouse.
Will celebrating with his friend Morgan and Amber.

Christmas 2011

Reagan's favorite Christmas present. Nick says it's just easier being a Packer fan in Wisconsin.

Went to the stadium for the sale and to see Santa!
Will got in his gift for Christmas ... the Nintendo 3DS. Wasn't on our shopping list.

Our new addition ...

No you didn't read that wrong ... our family can't seem to stop adopting. This time an animal. I thought after one year I would be finished with dogs. I didn't miss the poop cleanup or the hair. After looking here and there very casually, I fell in love with Gus.

We have no idea of his breed. He has these really short legs, the face of a lab and the body of a beagle. His sister was on site as well and they were listed as part spaniel mix. The sister definitely had the coat of a spaniel. The last dog Nick wanted was a beagle. I am leaning towards thinking that is what he might be. The kids are totally in love, for today. I am realistic. Nick has agreed to the walking. I agreed to the outdoor cleanup. The kids have been helping with both.

He came from North Carolina and was rescued by a wonderful place in West Bend. He was placed in foster care where we met him. His placement was Sunday, October 30th. We had him home on Sunday, November 6th. He will be 4 months old on Tuesday (tomorrow).

In love today ... despite training a puppy again. He is a cuddler and spunky as well.

Tune in for more Gus stories along the way!

Babysitting

This is Will and his little "bub" Olivia. We had the pleasure of babysitting on Saturday night. We had a great time with her. She is such an angel!
