I am a working mom that has been blessed with two boys born in Guatemala. Will is now 9 and Reagan 7. They are truly the greatest gifts I have ever received. The road to our forever family was not an easy one, but one that I am glad we took. And who better to walk that path with then my husband Nick. Together we are also learning and educating ourselves about autism. We have a child that has been diagnosed very recently. With courage, strength, hope, faith and love, we are bound and determined to give him the best life possible ... as a Forever Family!
Becca, I so enjoyed reading your family's blog. I ALWAYS had a special delightful liking of you. But now after reading this entire site I have a totally new level of admiration, respect & empathy for you. It goes well beyond your daily struggles of raising a child with Autism. Obviously, that in itself is incredible. But, the facts that you work full time, continuing your education, balancing the lives of two very different kids, your tireless researching & following up on any & all avenues to try to understand & improve Will's life while always including Reagan, assuring the journey will always be a family venture, maintaining a beautifully well kept home with home cooked meals, your family's appearance always is impeccable,( those three in itself are rarer these days than we care to know about), never forgetting to acknowledge other people's milestones, such as B-days, showers, weddings, etc., being in an employment field you obviously love & never complain about, (another rarity!), all that & still being an asset to your community & loving wife. You ARE definitely a fierce force to be reckoned with. Thank you for creating & maintaing this awesome blog. Love you Becca.
